A Surprise from the Garden

We planted a variety of potatoes this summer.

My own heart skipped a beat when W. brought this one to me from the most recent harvest.

No, I couldn't bring myself around to actually cook it, or eat it. :)

Have a great day everyone!

  13. That is beautiful. I wonder if you could preserve it any way - beyond photography? Varnish? Just a thought.

Enjoy the fruits of your harvest.

  17. Oh I think you and your dear one should cook it, split it, and top it with a little sour cream and caviar. And savor every delicious bit - the perfect treat after all of your healthy, healthy eating! It will nourish your body AND soul! ;)

    So cute. Beautiful photos, Mari.
