Outdoor Wednesday ~ Wordless Wednesday

A recent trip home included a few favorite familiar places, like this one.

The Palace of Fine Arts

Created for the Pan Pacific Exposition of 1915, my grandfather would reminisce, as he was actually there for the opening event. ... :)

Across the street.

Do you love the bronze mail box/pouch on this porch landing?

I do. ,, :)

I'm homesick already.

  4. Of all the times I've been to SF and of all the places I visited, the Palace of Fine Arts is the one place I've only admired from a distance. This made me put it on my list for my 'next' trip. I've enjoyed my tour of your site.

  15. That is a spectacular building. However, I think my favorite photo is the one of the Golden Gate Bridge with all the sailboats in the bay.
