Welcome to another Tablescape Thursday at Once Upon a Plate!
With grateful thanks to our host Susan at "Between Naps on the Porch".
Please click logo to see all the participants for this week.
It's been storming and raining for the past two days here in the Pacific Northwest, so I wanted to make a warm and inviting breakfast table for your visit.
I chose this red and white color scheme set upon the old clawfoot table in the cozy dining nook to help us to forget how wet and chilly it is outside.
I've set a fire in the fireplace to help chase the chill.
Please pull up a chair and make yourself comfy. I hope you'll help yourself to some grapes while I finish preparing our breakfast.
We'll start with little pots of hot cereal.
Then eggs, any way you like them. With cottage fried potatoes and applewood smoked ham and/or bacon with sliced tomatoes and slivered basil from the garden.
and some local honey and homemade raspberry jam.
Of course, the coffee is always fresh and hot. I also have a nice selection of tea if you would prefer.
I'm so happy you were able to come by today!
Please come back again often. I love your company. :)
Please leave me a message so I can come visit your blog, too!

Wow! Thank you EVERYONE for your wonderful comments!!! You blow me away with your kindness. I wish I could have each of you over for breakfast, that would be so much fun! :)
ReplyDeleteSeveral people have emailed and commented asking about how I did the last image in the post. It is simply a 'filter' effect option (from my very, very basic!) photo editor. That one is called "dry brush". I hope this helps!
Thank you again for taking the time to comment! xo
