No "recipe" needed, it's just a good one to keep in mind if you would like to dress up broccoli a bit and add dimension of flavor and texture.
Just steam or boil the broccoli florets or spears until crisp-tender, drizzle with a bit of garlic infused olive oil, (or plain olive oil) a little salt and pepper. Then sprinkle with buttered crumbs (dry bread crumbs work well here), add some minced garlic if you like; then run under the broiler to crisp up the crumbs, until they are lightly golden.
Good idea Mary..we love Broccoli and usually BBQ it..or bake it..or stir fry..
