Tablescape ~ Dinner in the Garden!

I'm wondering if you can imagine my GLEE at the prospect of taking our first dinner of the year out in the French garden

today?

Tomorrow we're due for more sprinkles, but today was in the 70's so I grabbed the opportunity to set this spur-of-the-moment table and enjoy the weather.



Nothing fancy ~ I kept everything simple.



The little black metal bistro table works out perfectly for two~ Most of the early daffodils have passed, but the tulips are just coming into bloom so I snipped a couple for the table so we could enjoy them up close.


A most treasured gift from a dear friend. My heart skips a beat everytime I look at it.



The tablecloth is by April Cornell, napkins by Ralph Lauren. Bubble wine glasses; Target, flatware Amazon, Woven chargers; Big Lots (some time ago), Portuguese cabbage plates by Bordallo Pinheiro; TJ Maxx.
