I know many of us have vowed to lose a couple pounds this year so this recipe may be a temptation you don't want to see. :)
In my family we're ramping up our exercise regime so we can still occasionally indulge in goodies like these. They have been rated with 5 out of Five stars here.
The coconut and white chocolate make such a lovely combination of flavors ~ if you don't care for white chocolate, I don't see any reason why dark chocolate wouldn't work just as well.
In fact, I may try them that way next time.
And there WILL be a next time. hehe.
The recipe is another winner from Donna Hay, and you can find a printable copy of the recipe on my recipe blog by clicking HERE.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness... I love these cookies. Great photos, as usual. You must tell me where you got that cute little milk jar - it's adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh, yum! White chocolate chunk cookies sound great. I'm not a milk drinker, but I do like that cute little bottle. Love the pink ribbon on the cookies. It adds such a beautiful touch! ~ Sarah
ReplyDeleteOh, these look delish, and we are trying so hard at our house to be all about healthy eating. I think I will have to try this recipe though, maybe I'll only taste a couple and give the rest away, haha!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are great too, they should be in a magazine or cookbook!
The pictures are delicious, and just luscious! These are beautiful cookies!

Wow, what pretty cookies...all white and sweet. I think I would use dark chocolate, as you suggested, just because I love, love, love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks...Diane
Someone gave us white chocolate chip/macadamia nut cookies, and I'm sad to report that I finished them yesterday. Sigh. I love the idea of adding coconut. Your photographs are beautiful.

Not sure what I want first the little milk jug or the cookies. You always amaze me. I really need to stop reading recipes so that I can stay on my diet as I vowed not to eat sweets this entire month but who am I kidding:) I usually crack at around 3PM each day. Thanks for the visual share.

Hi Mari...what deadly cookies! You have displayed them so beautifully too. I am co-hosting a "Murder Mystery Tea" in 10 days and will be adding those cookies to our menus...there may be another murder over those cookies!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog and any excuse to make one of your recipes.
Carla
Hi Mari,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comment :) That's what I love about blogging, all the inspiration we get from each other. Your blog does the same for me, and I adore looking and drooling over all your table settings, as that is a passion of mine as well.
That milk jug is too darn cute!!
Since I am on operation slim down, I can't partake in anymore baking for a while. I have been trying to be good for my hip surgery.
I love the Donna Hay magazines! Yet another cook magazine that if I started buying, I couldn't get rid of!!
This is really tempting! I can't resist anything with white chocolate!
ReplyDeleteThese look pretty and delicious! Great photos. New year diets be damned!

ReplyDeleteThese look scrumptious even though I'm not a big white chocolate fan! Now with a little dark chocolate in them, I'd probably be over the moon!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Mari....you never cease to amaze me not just with your wonderful food creations but your photography is just fabulous...Gourmet magazine would not have gone out of business if they were using your photo's.....look forward to seeing what you come up with during the new year....Sue.
ReplyDeleteA happy marriage! White chocolate and coconut. Love the milk jar.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they'd get a 5 from me too!
ReplyDeleteI made these this morning - here are my changes: I subbed half brown sugar for the granulated sugar. I also rolled the dough into walnut-sized balls & flattened with a glass before baking.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this recipe - it's a definite keeper!
Mari, I just started my own food blog, for men who want to learn to cook. Check it out and give me some suggestions, like how do you get all of your great pictures? Lee
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty cookies!
ReplyDeleteI baked these last night and they were delicious. Very different. I used dark chocolate chips instead of white. I will add more chocolate chips next time.
