Smoked Salmon Capellini with Creamy Garlic-Wasabi Sauce

This is another old favorite which I revamped to fit our healthier eating style ~
However, if your health permits you to eat the full-fat version, go for it!

The methods for making it are the same whether low, medium or high fat.

I chose Barilla Plus Angel Hair pasta, Silk (TM) Soy Creamer, Non-fat Greek Style yogurt, and Low Sodium organic Chicken broth for the lower fat version. For the higher fat versions you can use low fat or whole milk or cream, and full fat Greek yogurt, or sour cream.

Again, it's another one that doesn't require an actual recipe, it all depends upon how many servings you are making and now saucy you like the pasta.

You can make the sauce while the pasta cooks, and finish it as the pasta drains ~ then it is all tossed together and warmed in the pasta pot ~ 2 pots, easy clean-up! :)

If you would like a printable copy of the recipe, it is on my recipe blog; access it by clicking HERE.

Thank you for coming by my blog today! Have a great week. :)

  6. Mari, those yummy pictures are talking to me; they're saying: "go buy some more salmon!"
It was just last weekend I was looking for new ideas with salmon, and now I find a delicious one, after the fact. But, we enjoy this fish so often, that I'm saving this for next time.
    Thank you!
