Postcard from Home ~ Easter : Part One

This year at our house, Easter includes the chicks of course!

The image above, and then next four are pictures of the same chick ~ she's very calm and quite willing to pose while I snap her picture.
I'm still deciding upon her name...

She's a Silver Laced Wyandotte.

I love her markings, and her mask.

And the one below is a Light Brahma~

She's a feisty little bird, and full of curiousity.

Next time I'll share two more (Truffle and Sugar) from the second batch:

Here is a peek at Truffle, a very gentle, quiet little chick.

And some flowers from the garden for Easter...

Thank you for stopping by today!

(Truffle again.)

  12. I'm so taken with your wee chickens! Where do they live when not posing? What will their eggs be like? We are city dwellers so no chance of having our own brood to raise and tend properly.

    Best,

  21. It's been awhile since I've been over here. My goodness those chics are soooooo adorable!!! What a fun post.

From the looks of your most recent posts it sounds like your going into the "chicken" business. I am a bird owner and have a soft place in my heart for our feathered friends.
