Hi Mari - Wow! Do you raise chickens? I buy my eggs from a local lady and the last batch I purchased had 3 blue, and several pink eggs mixed in with the various shades of brown that I usually get. What a treat they were. I found myself not wanting to use them :).
Btw, thank you for your amazingly sweet compliment. My photos don't hold a candle to your, so I'm completely flattered - wish me luck on foodgawker... he doesn't like me.
No special lens (my point and shoot lumix fz-28 has a fixed lens). The camera has 18x optical zoom, so that's how I got the bokeh on the Christmas tree lights behind the cake.
My goal is to purchase a DSLR sometime during the next year.... have to do a lot of research first - so many features to consider, none of which I understand. It's all Greek to me! :)
its like merry christmas with an early present... everyday... by many! great shot~
ReplyDeleteLove this shot! The chicken looks amazed by the egg!! :)

What a beautiful color. Sometimes it is almost impossible to imitate nature.
ReplyDeleteThe chicken looks like it is thinking, "Did I do that?"
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
A thing of beauty!
ReplyDeleteWonderful!!! Hugs, Flavia
ReplyDeleteI love this photo, Mari. And it's fun to think about the possible captions.
