Allen Smith and he talked extensively about the poultry he raises on his farm in Arkansas. He is also a part of the Heritage Poultry Conservancy. He raises poultry that our early forefathers had in this country that are almost extinct. It sounds like you may be doing the same. If you don't alread know of this I thought you might be interested, www.heritagepoultry.org and also www.pallensmith.com. He also has a wealth of information on his website.

After hearing him speak I truly wanted to raise some chickens too but unfortunately I cannot living in the city. "rolling eyes" Good luck with your endeavours.

CarolynSoutherncookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17205120984091304271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-630857423783823238.post-59512209172755153722010-03-18T15:08:34.132-07:002010-03-18T15:08:34.132-07:00Those are the cutest little chicks-I love the pic ...Those are the cutest little chicks-I love the pic with the teacup!
Funny,I was trying to talk my husband into getting a few chikens this morning-no luck yet though.
CarolynCarolynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06365004847174534068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-630857423783823238.post-86736629789904639462010-03-18T11:37:22.332-07:002010-03-18T11:37:22.332-07:00Hi Mary
